Mallard Duck
FDB's Mallard dances on the slightest breeze. Our special hinge allows it to swivel and dip atop a 35" galvanized stake. It is approximately 17" long x 7" wide. Made from UV-resistant PVC, entirely hand painted & hand formed, it is durable in day-to-day weather. Simply lift off the stake to take in during severe weather or extreme temperatures. Made in the USA.
"Abundant over most of the northern hemisphere, the Mallard is the most familiar wild duck to many people, and the ancestor of most strains of domesticated ducks. In many places this species has managed to domesticate itself, relying on handouts in city parks. Although barnyard and feral ducks may be dumpy and ungainly creatures, the ancestral wild Mallard is a trim, elegant, wary, fast-flying bird." Audubon
